Job Description:

  • Foster an efficient and friendly sharing and maintaining of engineering information throughout the organization in support of the engineering department.
  • Provide administrative and technical support by managing and maintaining various technical engineering systems.
  • Maintain and update accurate part information into the ERP system.
  • Upload new product drawings into the ERP system.
  • Administer the ECR change process.
  • Verify ECR requests are complete and accurate.
  • Issue weekly report on status of ECR’s.
  • Research and compile data for justification of projects.
  • Update status of New Part (Transmittal)
  • Assign new part numbers and descriptions.
  • Issue product/quote numbers for OE and Aftermarket.
  • Issue Sample Request numbers, maintain log, review and communicate status of requests.
  • Work with Product Engineers on progress and issues.
  • Issue purchase orders for MRO items, receive orders and approve for payment.
  • Perform ISO audits.
  • Participate in Lean and 5s Activities.
  • Provide assistance on special projects or activities as required.

Preferred Skills:

  • Must have the ability to read blue prints.
  • Familiarity with general manufacturing processes preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications and have excellent computer skills.
  • Desire to solve problems and offer solutions.
  • Must work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to work with a diverse set of requirements.
  • Motivated, goal oriented, and detailed professional.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Ability to plan and carry out responsibilities with minimal direction.
  • Willingness to work extended hours as needed.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent knowledge gained through experience, and/or combination of education and experience.
